EcoScience NT was established in 1997
to provide a range of scientific
consulting services across Northern
Australia. We comprise a small group of
highly qualified professional
environmental scientists with extensive
local experience. We also maintain a
strong network of colleagues and
specialist sub-consultants with whom
we collaborate on a project-by-project
basis.
Incorporated in 2013, EcoScience NT
Pty Ltd (162 713 751) offers integrated
and high quality services to our clients
based on detailed knowledge of the
ecology, environmental processes and
management issues specific to the Top
End. This knowledge base includes
botany, vertebrate and invertebrate
zoology with expertise in coastal and
intertidal ecosystems including
mangrove communities.
This broad
range of scientific skills has been
applied over the last 16 years to the
identification, assessment and
management of environmental issues
for a diverse range of projects in
government, mining, industry and
private enterprise.
EcoScience NT has managed over 90 projects across Northern Australia including 56 mangrove projects mainly in Darwin Harbour to flora surveys and
ecological assessments on the edge of the Tanami desert. EcoScience NT has participated in the design and implementation of several major environmental
monitoring programs associated with: the ConocoPhillips Darwin LNG Plant, the Groote Eylandt Mining Company, BHP Billiton Gove, Matilda Minerals Tiwi
Islands Project and Ichthys Darwin Harbour Project (INPEX).
